ORDER

This petition is filed for a direction to the respondent to register First Information Report pursuant to a complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 30.06.2015 and received by the respondent on 04.07.2015 vide C.S.R.No.260 of 2015 and to order further prosecution.

2.The petitioner lodged a complaint as against Narayanamurthy, Sachidhanandham, Vijayan, Nethaji, Foreign Sundar stating that the accused persons in a drunken mood sat in the 20 feet common pathway and prevented the vehicles from going to the plot belonging to the petitioner and also threatened the people residing in the petitioner's plot. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police. Though the complaint has been assigned C.S.R.No.260 of 2015, till date no action has been taken. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the enquiry is under progress.

4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the opinion that it is appropriate to direct the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner which has been assigned C.S.R.No.260 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
