ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) On the representation made by the petitioner and the other villagers, the second respondent has informed them that appropriate action will be taken to remove the unauthorised occupation in grama natham Survey No.410/1 in Thumbal Village, Peddanaicken Palayam Taluk, Salem District. Since no further action has been taken, as informed in the said communication, the present writ petition is filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3.Taking into consideration the letter of the second respondent dated 29.08.2017, the said authority is directed to pass appropriate final orders on the representation by removing the encroachment, if any, after due notice to the parties viz., the petitioner and the alleged encroachers, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
