This petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, R-8, Vadapalani Police Station/the respondent herein to register a complaint on the basis of the information dated 20.07.2016 given by the petitioner against G.Pakirisamy; his son and his men investigate into the matter, file the final report to have the offenders punished according to law.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the counter petitioner, the petition enquiry was conducted in CSR No.373 of 2016 and the same was closed on 16.07.2016. He further submitted that on the complaint dated 20.07.2016 given by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending in C.No.409 of 2016. respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in C.No.409 of 2016 and take action in accordance with law.
