These Petitions have been filed to condone delay of 251 days in filing the petition to bring the legal representatives of the deceased first respondent; to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the first respondent; to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased first respondent as respondents 8 to 11 in the above Second Appeal.

2. The legal heirs of the first respondent will have to be impleaded as the respondents 8 to 11. It is contended that R8 who is the wife of R1 had also died and that, R9 to R11 would be the legal heirs of the first respondent. Notice had been earlier directed and a learned counsel had entered appearance on behalf of the proposed respondents.

3. In the result, these Petitions are allowed. The Registry to carry out the necessary amendment reflecting the death of R1 in the cause title and bringing on record R8 to R11 as stated in these Petitions and further record the death of R8 and indicate that R9 to R11 are the legal heirs of R8. 31.07.2025 gsk https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
