Heard Mr.V.Maharajan, learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the records.

2. This revision petition is filed seeking direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Panruti, Cuddalore District to dispose of O.S.No.85 of 2005 within a time frame being fixed by this Court.

3. According to the petitioners, O.S.No.85 of 2005 stated to have been filed seeking a relief that the plaintiffs/respondents 1 and 2 herein are the legal heirs of one Manickam. The petitioners herein are defendants 1 to 5 and respondents 3 and 4 are defendants 6 and 7.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that earlier the said suit was dismissed and subsequently number of interlocutory applications were filed and ultimately restored back in the year 2018. Now, presently another application seeking amendment of the plaint was filed and the same is pending.

5. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the suit which is filed in the year 2005 should have been disposed of long ago. However, on account of filing of number of interlocutory applications the trial is not being progressed.

6. Considering the circumstances, this revision petition is disposed of directing the learned Subordinate Judge, Panruti, Cuddalore District to dispose of all the interlocutory applications by fixing a specific date and complete the trial and dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
