announced by the Government of Tamil Nadu and also to take necessary action against the respondents 2 to 4 as per the law.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would confine her relief only in respect of the disposal of the said representation, if a suitable direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose the same on merits and in accordance with law.

5. It seems that the petitioner through the said representation has sought for disbursal of the drought relief amount announced by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Whether the petitioner is entitled to such relief or not, is for the first respondent to consider and decide and therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the first respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
