This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore, to expedite the trial in Crl.M.P.No.28668 of 2022 in C.C.No.867 of 2021 pending on its file.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore, is directed to complete the trial in Crl.M.P.No.28668 of 2022 in C.C.No.867 of 2021 and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petitin stands disposed of.
