PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to register a case against M/s.Shriam Transport Finance Ltd and one Suraiya Begum in connection with complaint lodged by the petitioner on 01.09.2018.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 01.09.2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is working as Inspector of Police (Prev Officer) in the Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue, Customs Commissionerate, Chennai -1. He further submitted that one Suraiya Begum has misused the petitioner's name and obtained a loan from the Shriram Transport Finance Ltd., and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent on 01.09.22018, but, so far no action has been taken.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after receipt of the said complaint, enquiry has been conducted and the same has been closed on 03.09.2018 itself.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is open to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner to avail any other remedy which is available under the law.
