O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated 30.04.2015.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Sekar, who is working in the Postal Department. The case of the petitioner is that the said sekar informed him that he is having high influence in the Pension and Provident Fund Office and he could get job for anybody. Believing his words, the petitioner also paid a sum of Rs.7,00,000/-. But, the said Sekar neither arranged for any job nor returned the money. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 30.04.2015. Since no action was taken by the respondents till date, the petitioner came forward to file this petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint, C.S.R.No.123 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending enquiry.

5.Considering the rival submissions, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 30.04.2015, if enquiry was not conducted so far and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the second respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
