This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent-police to register the complaint made by the petitioner dated 24.12.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor represents that a complaint dated 24.12.2014, lodged by the petitioner, was enquired into and the same was closed by second respondent-Police. Hence the second respondent-Police is directed to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner, within two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by Registered Post in compliance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
