This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to investigate and file a final report within a time frame.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the case dairy has been transferred to the file of the Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Villupuram in the year 2011 and it is pending investigation in Crime No.95 of 2011. 3.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of this case, the police to whom the case dairy has been transferred shall proceed further with the investigation and is directed to file a final report or closure report as the case may be within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
