The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 22.09.2015 and file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner completed M.Com and was searing for a job. At that point of time, one Vijalakshmi, a friend of sister's husband of the petitioner, approached the petitioner stating that she is working in Directorate of Government Examination (DPI) Verification Department and she has already arranged for Government jobs to many persons and demanded the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- as advance and to pay another sum of Rs.1,50,000/- after the receipt of the appointment order and gave the account number of one Anandan to send the money. petitioner lodged a complaint on 22.09.2015. Since no action was taken by the respondents, the petitioner came forward to file this petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the opinion that it is appropriate to direct the second respondent to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 22.09.2015, if enquiry was not conducted so far and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the second respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.
