This application has been taken out under section 56(1) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act of 2015.
2. The child in question was surrendered by the biological mother with the Child Welfare Committee at Chengalpattu on 09.02.2018. The Child Welfare Committee has issued a certificate on 04.04.2019 declaring that the child is fit for adoption. The said certificate has been marked as Ex.P3. The petitioners 2 and 3 had applied online for adoption of the child and home study report has been made on 08.02.2017 and the same has been marked as Ex.P1. The child study and medical reports of the child has been marked as Ex.P2. The Adoption Committee by its minutes dated 23.04.2019 had approved the adoption of the child by the prospective adoptive parents namely, petitioners 2 and 3. The second petitioner has been examined as P.W.2, he has produced the marriage certificate as Ex.P10 to show that the petitioners 2 and 3 are husband and wife . He has produced the original health certificates as Ex.P11 and the original income certificates as Ex.P12. Recommendation letters have also been marked as Ex.P13.

3. In the light of the said evidence, I am satisfied that the petitioners 2 and 3 are entitled to adopt the child and this original petition is allowed as prayed for.
