Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to grant parole for one month to the petitioner's son Appu @ Rajendran (CT 6817 AB1) S/o.G. Srinivasan, who has been confined in Central Prison, Puzhal-I, Chennai as convict prisoner to secure the ends of justice.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by N. KIRUBAKARAN,J.) The matter is heard through videoconferencing. 2.

The petitioner, who is the father of the convict, namely Appu @ Rajendran (CT 6817 AB1) S/o.G. Srinivasan, confined in Central Prison, Puzhal-I, Chennai as convict prisoner, has filed this petition seeking one month parole to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the convict to visit his mother as she is suffering from heart ailment and she is taking treatment.

When the matter is called today, the Inspector of Police, Vellore North Police Station has filed a report stating that the convict's mother suffered heart ailment and renal problem and she was taking treatment from 08.04.2020 to 10.04.2020 and her health is alright now. Further, it is stated that there will be law and order problem if he is released on parole as there is already rowdy gang clash in the area. 4.

Since the Inspector of Police is apprehensive of law and order problem if the petitioner's son is released, this Court is not inclined to grant parole. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
