198717 of 2025 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J., AND K.RAJASEKAR.J., (Order of the Cout was made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.,) This petition had been filed seeking to condone the delay of 63 days in filing the appeal against the judgment and decree dated 25.04.2025 passed in M.C.O.P.No.5 of 2021 by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (I Additional District and Sessions Court) Vellore.
2.Notice had been directed and Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned counsel has entered appearance for Respondents 1 to 4.
3. In the affidavit giving reasons for the delay, it had been stated that the sanction had to be obtained for filing the appeal and in that process, there was a delay.
4.Taking all factors into consideration, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
The Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order. When the appeal is listed for admission, the name of the counsel for respondents shall be printed in the cause list.
