The petitioners have come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 11.09.2018 filed by the petitioners against the order of the 2nd respondent, on the file of the 1st respondent within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners purchased a portion of the superstructure in the land bearing Survey Nos.226 part and 227 part, situated at Door No.993, T.H.Road, Kaladipet, Thiruvottiyur, Chennai 600 019 in the year 2009. Though they paid entire amount claimed by the 2nd respondent vide order dated 04.03.2016 in Nata.Na.Ka.No.7580/2012/A2, the 4th respondent locked and sealed the premises on 07.09.2018. The petitioners have paid all the arrears on 10.09.2018 and hence, filed a revision petition on 11.09.
2018 before the 1st respondent challenging the order issued by the 2nd respondent and seeking a direction to remove the lock and seal effected by the 4th respondent. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court feels that the revision petition filed by the petitioners before the Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments be taken for consideration, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Before doing so, the application filed for interim direction to the respondents to remove lock and seal affixed in the shop premises situated at Door No.993, T.H.Road, Kaladipet, Thiruvottiyur, Chennai 600 019 be disposed of within two weeks from today.
