Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.01.2014 and 26.09.2014 in seeking to grant permission to lay pipe line in Survey No.421 and 422 of Vengayakurichi Village Pethanaickan-palayam Taluk, Salem District for taking water from the patta lands of the petitioner in Survey No.420/1 to the other patta lands in Survey No.417 418 747 and 752 of Vengayakurichi Village as granted earlier by 2nd respondent vide proceedings in Ni.Mu.8723/98(A2) dated 08.10.1998 for a period of 10 years.

It is seen that the petitioner was given permission to take pipeline through the Government land from one of his patta land to another. As the said permission got expired, the petitioner made a fresh representation. On the representation of the petitioner dated 03.03.2015, the respondent no.1 has directed the respondent no.2 to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

take appropriate action. The territorial jurisdiction has been changed in favour of the respondent no.3. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent no.3 to pass appropriate orders.

2.Considering the above said facts, a direction is issued to the respondent no.3 to pass appropriate orders, in purusance of the order of the respondent no.1 dated 26.03.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
