ORDER

The petitioner / Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 324(4), 125, 311 and 351(3) of BNS, in Crime No.595 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused in an inebriated condition attacked the defacto complainant and also robbed Rs.950 from him at knife point.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the allegations are false; that he has been falsely implicated in this case, since he has got some previous cases and sought for anticipatory bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that there are 14 previous cases against the petitioner, and hence opposed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of allegations, bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
