This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated 05.10.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law. 2.The petitioner has lodged a complaint on 05.10.2015 against one Dhasarathan, Sudha, Sumithra and Venkatesan on the allegation of cheating but the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Dharmapuri, the 3rd respondent herein, is enquiring into the matter.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the 3rd respondent is directed to conduct the enquiry and if the materials gathered indicates any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
