The present revision petition has been filed to enhance the punishment imposed on the respondent in S.T.C.No.17 of 2021 passed by the Fast Track Judicial Magistrate, Nagapattinam, vide order dated 19.01.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as against the order of conviction, the respondent / accused preferred an appeal in Crl.A.No.5 of 2023 before the lower Appellate Court. Hence, this Court may grant liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Revision Case is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the remedy known to law. Registry is directed to return the original order of the trial Court to the learned counsel for the petitioner enabling the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. 18.07.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No vji
