The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to refund the advance amount of Rs.1,50,000/- paid by the petitioner towards the proposal of distribution of Digital Set Top Boxes with interest.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the respondent has handed over a cheque bearing No.100625 for a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees one lakh https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and fifty thousand only) drawn on State Bank of India, Chennai - 6 in favour of Mr.N.Vijayarangan, the petitioner herein to the learned counsel for the petitioner with regard to the refund of advance amount of Rs.1,50,000/- paid by the petitioner towards the proposal of distribution of Digital Set Top Boxes.

3. In view of the same, since the amount in dispute has been settled in favour of the petitioner by way of a Cheque drawn in favour of him, now nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Recording the above, this Writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
