ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.02.2022 at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 294 (b), 354 (A), 307, 506 (ii) IPC r/w Section of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act in Crime.No.61 of 2022, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are neighbours. It is alleged that the petitioner had misbehaved with the defacto complainant on several occasions and abused her in filthy language. Hence, the complaint was registered as against the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are neighbours. He further submitted that the petitioner used to misbehave with the defacto https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complainant, since her husband is in abroad. The petitioner not only misbehaved with the defacto complainant on one occasion but on several occasions and finally he attacked the defacto complainant and she sustained grievous injurious. Though, the defacto complainant was discharged from hospital, if the petitioner is left out on bail again, he will indulge in same activities. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
