ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondent authorities to return the original PG Diploma (DMRD) certificate of the petitioner in compliance to the 1st respondent authority's direction dated 10.02.2022.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has placed before this Court the written instructions received by him. As per the written instructions, the respondents have informed him that as per the order dated 06.10.2020 passed by this Court in W.A.No.799 of 2018, the candidates who have not been offered appointment within the period of two years of completion of course, would be entitled for return of their certificates.

3. The case of the petitioner falls under the very same category i.e., he has not been offered appointment within a period of two years of the completion of the course. Therefore, the petitioner is also entitled for return of his original PG Diploma (DMRD) certificate.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that if the petitioner approaches the third respondent requesting for return of the original PG Diploma (DMRD) certificate, the third respondent shall return the original certificate.

5. Therefore, a direction is issued to the third respondent to return the original PG Diploma (DMRD) Certificate to the petitioner as and when the petitioner approaches the third respondent for the return of his original certificate.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
