ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 15.03.2024 made by the petitioners.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have made a representation on 15.03.2024 requesting the respondents herein to pay the compensation payable to the subject lands under the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation, Rehabilitation and Re-settlement Act 2013 (Act No.30 of 2013). However the said representation was not considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition has been filed by the petitioners.

3. Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, appears on behalf of the respondents and requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 15.03.2024 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
