This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents police to give police protection to the petitioner and her husband.
2. The case of the petitioner is that she was fell love with one Thirumurthi. It was condemned by the third respondent who is the father of the petitioner herein and threatened her that if she marries the said Thirumurthi, he will kill her. However, the petitioner eloped and got married with the said Thirumurthi on 10.03.2021. The petitioner is aged about 24 years and now apprehends threat at the hands of her family members. Therefore, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent and the second respondent has issued CSR.No.101 of 2021.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that enquiry is still pending on the file of the first respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner whenever she needs.
5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
