Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the Memorandum of Seniority list dated 12.12.2012 No.PJN/Estt./E2/DRSAL/2012-2013 on the file of the respondents 1 to 5 to place the petitioner in the post of MTS(Multi Task Service) for absorption of the FTCLR's (Full Time Causal Labourer) considering the petitioner's promotional avenues since the date of appointment on 19.02.1996 by the respondents 1 to 5. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to place the petitioner in the post of Multi Task Service (MTS) for absorption of the Fill Time Casual Labourer(FTCL) considering the petitioner's promotional avenues since the date of appointment on 19.02.1996.

During the course of hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1ot 4 has placed a 2/5

copy of the Minutes of the Departmental Promotion Committee dated 22.03.2024 for considering absorption of the petitioner as Full Time Casual Labourer in the post of Agricultural Mazdoor in the 5th respondent Institute.

At paragraph No.5 of the Minutes of the Meeting, the petitioner was absorbed as Agricultural Mazdoor in Level-1 of pay matrix in the vacant post, consequent on the demise of Thiru.M.Pandithurai, Agricultural Mazdoor in the 5th respondent Institute. The said proceedings are placed before the Court.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner was absorbed as Full Time Casual Labourer in the 5th respondent Institute, in our considered view, no further adjudication is required in the present case. The additional typed set of papers filed by the learned Special Government Pleader including the Minutes of the Departmental Promotion Committee dated 22.03.2024 are placed on record.

5. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 6.There shall be no order as to costs.
