The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to initiate and complete the sub-divisions and updates the Field Measurement Book (FMB) in respect of the lands, in SF No.90/4 measuring about 0.39.0 Ares and in SF No.348/16 measuring about 0.28.50 Ares in Parpanacheri Village, Ariyalur Taluk & District pursuant to the communication, dated 20.04.2017. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to direct the 2nd https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent, to complete the exercise of surveying and subdividing the land, pursuant to the notice dated 20.04.2017, within a time frame, in accordance with law.
3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to complete the exercise within four weeks time.
4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to complete the exercise of surveying and subdividing the petitioner's land, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
