This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein viz., the Sub Inspector of Police, Thiruppathur Town Police Station, Vellore District to register the petitioner's complaint dated 13.07.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on the complaint of the petitioner dated 13.07.2016, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.220/2016 before the second respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [(2014) 4 SCC 1], otherwise, the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner.
