PRAYER:

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to complete the proceedings initiated in NA.No.01 dated 27.12.2023 of 2023 and consequently directing the respondents 1 to 7 to protect the right of the petitioner and his family to worship their family god and to perform their customary rights etc., in the temple namely Sri Annakamatch & Sri Masi Periyasamy Temple, Mooktharichampalayam, Tharapuram Taluk, Thirupur District and other subsequent festivals in future.

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the third respondent to complete the proceedings initiated in NA.No.01 dated 27.12.2023 of 2023 and consequently directing the respondents 1 to 7 to protect the right of the petitioner and his family to worship their family god and to perform their customary rights etc., in the temple namely Sri 2/4

Annakamatch & Sri Masi Periyasamy Temple, Mooktharichampalayam, Tharapuram Taluk, Thirupur District and other subsequent festivals in future.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the seventh respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.03.2025 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner & respondents 8 to 10 and giving them personal opportunity of hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
