Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to forthwith handover the possession of house sites allotted to the petitioners bearing Plot Nos.1, 2, 9, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30, 35, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 54, 64, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 72 consisting of 120 Sq.meters each in total extent of 4.50 acres of land in Survey No.366 at Sengannur Village, Pennagaram Taluk to the petitioners respectively in pursuance of pattas granted in their favour in Na.Ka.No.131537/97 Y.7 dated 20.10.2000 and Na.Ka.No.131837/97 Y.7 dated Nil.12.1999 signed on 20.10.2000 by the 2nd respondent Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition), Backward and Most Backward Class Welfare Department, Dharmapuri after dividing the plots by metes and bounds within the time frame fixed by this Court.
