Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to grant posting to the petitioner in the vacancy to the post of Assistant Professor in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics in Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital, Chennai-3 based on the qualification acquired by the petitioner in the concerned speciality, in modification of the posting order issued by 3rd respondent in Ref.No.30122/E6/4/2017-1 dated 27.06.2017 by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 24.02.2017, within a time frame to be fixed.

The writ petition is filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to grant posting to the petitioner in the vacancy to the post of Assistant Professor in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics in Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital, Chennai-3 based on the qualification acquired by the petitioner in the concerned speciality, in modification of the posting order issued by 3rd respondent in Ref.No.30122/E6/4/2017-1 dated 27.06.2017 by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 24.02.2017, within a time frame to be fixed.
2. Considering the nature of relief sought for in the writ petition, viz., to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.2.2017, this court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition without going into the merits of the case.
3. Accordingly, respondents 2 and 3 are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.02.2017 in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
