This petition has been filed to direct the the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 29.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, on the complaint lodged by one Balaji, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.278 of 2015 on 08.08.2015 under Section 294[b], 323, 324 and 506[i] IPC against one Sivagami and others. As a counter blast, Sivagami's husband Sridharan has sent the present complaint dated 07.06.2016 against the opposite party.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the opposite party had attacked one Jayalakshmi, who is the sister-in-law of the petitioner.

5. On reading of the discharge summary of Jayalakshmi, there are no details in it. In view of the above, no positive direction can be issued as prayed for by the petitioner and this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedies in the manner known to law.
