Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 9.2.2015 and to dispose of the same within a reasonable period of time as may be stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner made a representation to the respondent no.1 stating that originally patta has been given for 3 cents to each both in favour of the petitioner and her mother-in-law. However, the same was changed by issuing single patta in the name of her husband. It has been further stated that due to estranged relationship between the petitioner and her husband, the respondent no.2, it will be appropriate to include her name, since the patta as of now stands in his name. This request was made on the ground that patta originally stood in her name for 3 cents. 2.Considering the pendency of the representation dated 09.02.2015, the respondent no.1 is directed to pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioner as well as the respondent no.2. representation may be disposed of by the respondent no.1 or by any other officer under his jurisdiction.
