ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) When the petitioner's daughter viz., Sheeba, aged about 26 years had gone missing from 10.04.2024 onwards, a complaint was lodged on 15.04.2024. Pursuant to which, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2.Today, the second respondent police had produced the petitioner's daughter before us. According to the respondent police, she has left the petitioner's house of her own free will and is now living with one Tamilthendral. When we interacted with the petitioner's daughter, she expressed her will to live with the aforementioned Tamilthendral. When a

young women has made a conscious decision and chosen where she wants to stay, this Court, in exercise of its powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, will not deviate from such views expressed. As such, no effective orders can be passed in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. 3.Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. (M.S.R.,J.)
