ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 25.06.2021.

2. According to the petitioners, they are the owners of the property in S.F.No.3 of Poolampatti village, Salem District and there is a cart track available in the land, which is classified as "Nilaviyal Pathai" to the width of 5 to 6 meters. However, during the UDR scheme, it was wrongly mentioned as 1012 meters. Hence, the petitioner said to have approached the respondent/District Revenue Officer to correct the entry. But, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and the petitioners' representation, dated 25.06.2021 is pending with the respondent, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' representation, after giving opportunity to the petitioners as well as other interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
