Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to dispose the appeal in stipulated time, filed against the dismissal order No.11825/G.1/2022 dated 11.01.2023 and consequently to release the

petitioner from dismissal proceedings of the 3rd respondent and reinstate him in service.

ORDER

Since the Writ Petition is filed with an innocuous prayer of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal, which is filed against the dismissal order dated 11.01.2023 and since Mr.V.P.R.Elamparithi, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents takes notice and confirms that the appeal is pending, the Writ Petition is allowed on the following terms:

(i) The 2nd respondent shall dispose of the appeal dated 17.02.2023, filed by the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

(ii) No costs.
