The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.03.2024 in connection with Crime No.169 of 2024 registered for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 448, 294(b), 323, 324, 307, 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 4 of TNPWH Act, 2002, seeks bail.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the offence, however, he is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. He also submitted that the coaccused in this case have been released on bail and the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 23.03.2024. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police raised objection for granting bail to the petitioner/A1 stating that due to the civil dispute, the accused had trespassed into the house of the de facto complainant, abused the de facto complainant and her family members and assaulted them with iron rod and wooden logs, due to which, they sustained grievous injuries. He further submitted that 21 stitches have been put on the de facto complainant's father's head and even though the injured were discharged from the hospital, they are still taking treatment and the investigation in this case is also pending.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, and considering the gravity of the offence committed by the accused and taking note of the facts that the injured are still taking treatment and the investigation in this case is still pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
