Advocate ( Crl. Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)a, 4(1-A)ii TNP Act r/w 7 of RS Rule 2000,, in Crime No.370 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons were found in illegal possession of 35 litres of I.D.Arrack. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner along with other accused persons were found in illegal possession of 35 litres of I.D.Arrack. He further submits that there are 20 previous cases pending as against the petitioner and he is a history sheeter. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. .

5.Considering the fact that there are 20 previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
