Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2016 seeking demarcation of his properties situated at No.61, Kiliya Nagar Village, Madurantakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District comprised in Survey No.671/35 admeasuring to an extent of 0264 square meters.

Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 19.09.2016 wherein and whereby he sought for demarcation of the properties situated at No.61, Kiliya Nagar Village, Madurantakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District comprised in Survey No.671/35 admeasuring to an extent of 0264 sq.mt.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered so far. At this stage, this Court, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the representation of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner dated 19.09.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
