By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

2. The petitioner is facing domestic enquiry. During the process of domestic enquiry, he submitted a book of accounts as document. The enquiry officer had refused to receive the same. Consequently, he wrote a letter to the enquiry officer dated 05.05.2018, asking for a fresh enquiry and that he will send connected original documents through registered post.

3. The enquiry officer is directed to consider the representation dated 05.05.2018 and if the documents submitted by the petitioner are admissible under the rules governing a Departmental enquiry, the enquiry officer may take appropriate decision to receive them. He should give reasons for whatever decision be takes in writing. This decision should be taken on or before 13.06.2018, the next hearing date of the enquiry. The enquiry can proceed.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner is also permitted to forward the representation dated 05.05.2018 along with books of accounts and copy of this order directly to the enquiry officer. This should be forwarded on or before 25.05.2018. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any decision of the enquiry Officer, he is at liberty to approach this Court once again.

3. With such observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
