This petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 1.07.2021 other than due process of law.

2. The petitioner is a major studying IInd Year B.A., in M.E.S.College at Chikkamagaluru Karnataka District. Against her wish and on compulsion of her parents, she was married to one Ranganathan on 22.04.2021. Since the marriage was on threat and compulsion not to her liking, she left the matrimonial home and also not informed her parents and now residing with her friend Roja in Ranipet. The petitioner had sent a representation on 01.07.2021 disclosing all the facts to the first and second respondent Police. However, the second respondent Police are pressurizing the petitioner to attend for enquiry. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl.Side) has submitted that the petitioner's father Kasi had https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

filed HCP.No.71 of 2021 before the Karnataka District. The Karnataka Police had informed the same to the respondent police and when they attempted to contact the petitioner, she got objection and filed this petition.

4. He further submitted that the petitioner sought to be enquired in connection with HCP.No.71 of 2021 filed by her father. Hence, the petitioner, her parents to appear before the HCP Court, Bangalore, without any delay.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
