Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to regularize the service of the petitioner in the cadre of Typist based on the proposal sent by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.2744/A1/2011 dated 26.06.2015 within a reasonable time.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner would state that his mother was working as a Women Health Visitor at Ramanathapuram Panchayat Union and she died in harness on 11.08.2015 leaving behind her husband and the petitioner to succeed to her estate. The petitioner was appointed by the second respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2960/N14(3)/2006 dated 22.07.2010 on compassionate grounds under Rule 10 a(1) of the State Subordinate Service Rules as typist. She has reported for duty before the third respondent on 09.08.2010.

3. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that her services are not regularised inspite of the proposal sent by the third respondent to the second respondent on 31.05.2012 and 26.06.2015. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition. 4.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Muthappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5.Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into merits of the case, directs the second respondent to act on the proposal initiated by the third respondent on 31.05.2012 and 26.06.2015 and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
