Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents in particular the 2nd and 3rd respondents to measure the petitioner property and put up survey stone in respect of the property bearing Survey No.256/17, Old Survey No.256/7, Punja land situated at Melsilampadi, Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District vide patta 42 to an extent of 0.60.0 Ares in brief 959 sq.ft. based on petitioner application dated 11.04.2015.

Seeking to measure the lands said to be owned by the petitioner in Survey No.256/17, Old Survey No.256/7 at Melsilampadi, Thiruvannamalai District, the petitioner made an application on 11.04.2015. On its non consideration, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.A perusal of the said application would show that an objection is being raised by another person by name Mani S/o Kuppan belonging to the same village.

3.Taking into consideration the above, a direction is issued to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation, after hearing the petitioner as well as the said Mani S/o.Kuppan, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the respondents to hear any 3rd party, if so required.
