This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent and his subordinates to not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate ( Crl. Side) submitted that, petitioner was called for enquiry with regard to purchase of car in connection with Crime No.21 of 2023 on the file of the Economic Offences Wing Police Station, Chennai. He further submitted that, now, petitioner is not required for any enquiry.

3. In view of the submission of the learned Government Advocate ( Crl. Side) that petitioner is not required for enquiry any more, this Court is of view that there is no need to pass any order in this petition.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 01.06.2023 sma 2/4
