Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to fix revised fare for mini buses as per Tamil Nadu Government Order made in the year 2011 forthwith petitioner representation dated 12.09.2017, within time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

Mr.A.Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner is an Association called Tirupur Taluk Mini Bus Owners Association. The petitioner Association sent a representation to the respondents on 16.07.2017 to fix fares for the mini bus operators and for some other relief.

3. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner Association, based on the representation as well as the averment made in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, as it is for the respondents, more particularly, first respondent to consider the same and decide. Therefore, without expressing, any view on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation dated 16.07.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
