Prayer in W.P.No.15905/2021:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider my representation dated 08.03.2021 for include the name of the petitioners in the select list by taking into consideration the fact that the petitioners have obtained secured high marks in the category of BC (Tamil Medium) and which is higher than the last selected candidates and accordingly appoint the petitioners as Gang man (Trainee) from the date when the selected candidates are appointed with all service and monetary benefits and pass such further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

By consent of the learned counsel on either side, these writ petitions are taken up for final disposal and is disposed of by this order.

The petitioners have filed the present writ petitions seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, to consider my representation dated 08.03.2021 for include the name of the petitioners in the select list by taking into consideration the fact that the petitioners have obtained secured high marks in the category of BC (Tamil Medium) and which is higher than the last selected candidates and accordingly appoint the petitioners as Gang man (Trainee) and the petitioner has obtained 44 marks in the category of SC (Tamil Medium) and the petitioners have secured high marks in the category of Most Backward Class (Tamil Medium) respectively, which is higher than the last selected candidates and accordingly appoint the petitioners from the date when the selected candidates are appointed with all service and monetary benefits, within a time frame. 4.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before it. 5.

This Court considering the limited prayer sought for in these Writ petitions, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners' dated 08.03.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioners herein.

With the above directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
