This petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to register the case on the basis of the complaint dated 22.05.2016 and to investigate the matter in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.379 of 2016, before the 4th respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the 4th respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in [2014] 2 SCC 1, otherwise close the complaint under intimation to the petitioner.
