RESPONDENT Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation on 10.3.2015 requesting to declare that the land situated in S.No.108/8 to the extent of 0.0150.5 square meter Kamakkapalayam Village Attur Taluk Salem District as ancestral property of the petitioner. With the consent of both side, the writ petition itself has been taken up for disposal.

2 Claiming right pursuant to long possession from the ancestral property, petitioner made representation to the respondent on 10.3.2015 for issuance of certificate for the above said purpose. On its non-consideration, the present writ petition has been filed. 3 Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation, dated 10.3.2015, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the said representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
