Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the relief of issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to hold public meeting on 22.08.2015 at Poombukar Nagar, near State Bank, Kolathur, Chennai 600 099 for celebrating the birth anniversary of Kamarasar as per his request by way of applications dated 29.07.2015 and 03.08./2015.

ORDER

Seeking to issue a mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct public meeting at Kolathur, the petitioner is now before this court with this writ petition.

2. Today, when the writ petition came up for admission, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition permission has been granted by the authorities and hence nothing survives in this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
