O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to expedite the trial in C.C.No.288 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court at Thiruvottiyur, within three months.

2. The only grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in C.C.No.288 of 2013. The said case is pending from the year 2013. Till date the trial has not been commenced. Hence he has come forward with the present petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in C.C.No.288 of 2013 already the date of trial has been fixed and summons have been issued to the witnesses.

4. In view of the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur is directed to expedite the trial in C.C.No.288 of 2013 and dispose of the same as early as possible.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
